Dolce is a winner!

“OH MY GOD, WHAT A FACE!”

This is Dolce, my one and a half year old Havanese who is a rescue dog.

I found him on Petfinder.com a year ago when he was five months old. He had already been rescued by HALO(Havanese Angel League Organization) from a puppymill. I drove all the way from New Jersey to Cleveland, Ohio to pick him up from where he was being fostered. Dolce, who was called Bogey then, was extremely timid and shy when I first got him home, but now he is the cutest, sweetest, most adorable and friendly little guy you could ever meet!

Dolce joins his precious “big brother”, Cohiba, a Coton de Tulear who welcomed him with open paws! He continues to be a little wary at times, but he sure knows that he is wanted and loved.

Here are some pictures of my seven year old Coton de Tulear and his "little brother" Dolce, who I rescued as "Bogey" from HALO's 2006 B puppies. I named him Dolce because he is so very sweet!
