Our El Guapo wears his name very well and is such a goof.  He makes us laugh all the time.  I can't believe we've only had him for 2 months!  He is already learning to go potty in the right spot and do all the right things.  He's SUCH a good little dog.  Everyone stops us on the street to tell us how cute he is.

We actually had a scary moment with him in April.... my father has been ill and I've had to travel to Miami for emergencies a few times.  I brought him with me twice and recreated his set up/"dog zone" that he has at home (crate, playpen, etc) in Miami at my parents house.  He did great on the first trip and enjoyed the warmth and the outdoors.  But on the second trip something happened to him him and he got sick - we're still not sure what it was, but I immediately took him to my vet from growing up in Miami and they sent me to the Miami Emergency Vet Services.  The Emergency clinic was AMAZING and they took such good care of our little boy.  In the end, no one knew why our little guy was so sick, but he had to stay in the clinic overnight two nights and had to have a little puppy IV.  How sad. I was so broken hearted and scared (it put me over the edge to see him so sick, on top of what I was going through with my father - I couldnt eat or sleep).  BUT, he was tough and made it.  In the end (and $1400 later...), our little man is just as good as new and a healthy little peanut.

Now that I'm back in town for a little while, we are getting him enrolled in training classes (we're overdue for this!).  He starts with a private lesson tomorrow and group lessons next saturday!  We can't wait to have him a little more under control and obedient.

He loves to do weird things and make us laugh all the time.  He likes to run around in what we have coined "demon circles" .... that's when he'll start zipping around at top speed in circles around a piece of furniture, and he growls and barks and acts like a maniac for no reason whatsoever.  We always get a kick out of that.

He also goes absolutely bizerk when my fiancé and I kiss in front of him.  He comes flying over and needs to get right in the middle of our kisses.  And if we kiss while he's in his crate he barks like crazy.  It's a riot.  He loves to get attention and we give him lots of it!

Thanks again for all that you do!  El Guapois so special and we are so lucky to have him.  We are so glad that we were able to rescue him from a bad situation and give him a loving home.

We've attached some pictures for you!
