We had a very sad ending to 2006 and beginning of 2007. Our first Havanese, our beloved Sophie was hit by a car and died on the highway in front of our house. We were very upset as we loved her very much and we thought we had done everything humanly possible to protect our puppies. During the holiday season one of our guests left the people door in the garage open and Sophie found it and went out. Usually Emmie and Oscar followed her, thank God they didn't this time. We now have 20"tall gates, that we have to step over, in every doorway leading in and out of our house. It took months for us to get back to some kind of normal. Emmie and Oscar were at a complete loss because Sophie was alpha and they followed her lead.

Emmie (Nella @ Halo) is such a beautiful dog, very loving and well behaved, a sweetheart.

Oscar (Quasi @ Halo) is Mommy's little boy, and he behaves as well as a little boy can, We love him to pieces.

Shailee is a new addition we picked up in September from the rescue of Vicki  She is a Maltese. She came right from the mill, she stunk to high heaven and she was wild. That makes me REALLY appreciate what you girls do.
