I thought I would send you some recent pictures of Fred.  Tom and I have had him almost two months now and he is wonderful!  He’s pretty much used to us and his new home – and is really getting into the swing of playing with us, with his toys and with his new dog friends – especially his “niece” and the pups he joins every week for his obedience class.  He’s learned to sit, stay and do a pretty good “down.”  His jumps continue to amaze us.  I’ve nicknamed him Air Jordan for the way he is able to arc and “hover” before he lands.   We got him a new winter coat, which he is very proud of – he’s just like one of the family when we all get ready to go out for a walk.  I think he is enjoying the first smells of his first spring.  Who knew that this small bundle of energy could have such a profound impact on two adult lives!  Thanks so much for rescuing him and sending him to us.  We consider ourselves very blessed to have him.
