Dear Cindy, Kathi, Karen, and Pat, I am thoroughly loving my life with Piper.
She is absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me (other than my two
daughters. But they're grown and on their own!) I am attaching a picture of my
"little darling" who, for once, didn't mind hearing that digital camera turn on!
My very best to all of you wonderful people!!!!!!!! Patty Nichols

I just can't tell you what a joy Gigi is to me. We have gone to Doggie class
together for 7 weeks. This last time I learned to clean her ears. She is such a
good doggie she almost brings me to tears. This morning for the second time only
she was playing with a toy. She loves to go for walks and she likes to sit and
be combed and she sits quietly when I bathe her. The trainer at the Doggie class
fell in love with her this last time. She is learning to stay alone but she is
also very good in the car. She has brought me lots of joy so this day I am
sending HALO a great big thank you and wishing you lots of the best Love Anna
from New Mexico

I'm so happy to be a part of your group! Carmen has made a real buddy in my
yorkie and has very quickly captured a place in our hearts. She is truly a
sweetheart and has settled in to her new life easily. I'm in love! Debi

I can't say enough good things about HALO. I have adopted a tiny Havanese
female. She is the most loving dog I have ever had. I would like to be in touch
with Kathi Quigley and Pat Peterson, who helped me adopt my precious Abigayle.
However the e-mail addresses I have for them are not good. Is it possible to
send me addresses for them so that I can send the a Christmas card and picture.
Thank you Carole (removed for privacy by webmaster) Northville, MI

I have been interested in the Havanese breed for several years and have been
searching for a reputable breeder. My main purpose for adopting is as a member
of my family and companion. I am also interested in maintaining the integrity of
the breed and possibly entering the show arena as an owner handler. I thank you
for your continued efforts rescuing these wonderful dogs and providing homes for
them. Kudos to you!

I really think that the Havanease is a very good dog. My grandma has one and me and my brothers love to play with her. My mom says that I can get a dog in about 3 years when we get one I want to make sure it is a Havanease because I am allergic to some dog hair.

I am a senior citizen who was looking for my last dog before I cashed in my
chips. I found him by such a weird set of circumstances that it just meant to
be.
I am just learning how to use the computer and was checking into another breed
and was discouraged with what I was learning. Somehow information appeared
about Havanese. I had never heard of them. I quickly learned that they were
hard to find. I discovered a breeder five miles from my home. She only had
males left...I wanted a female. The fence around my house had a 5" spread
between posts...his little head could go right through. My husband wasn't real
excited about getting another dog (we have three others). I was terribly
disappointed when we left the breeders. I emailed her a thank you for her time
when I got home. About an hour later, my husband came into my studio and sat
down. "It's about the puppy..." I knew immediately one problem was solved!! I
called the breeder and told her to ignore my email and we wanted to take Groucho
(her name) and we would be back at 11:00 next morning. She said she had another
person coming to see the puppies at 4:00. We wer!
e prompt and took our Great Dane with us to see her reaction (it could have been
a deal breaker).
They loved each other immediately...he is a thriving member of our household
named "Chuy" (our name). We are stumbling through puppyhood together and I am
so glad he is in my life!

Hi my name is Sharon and
I found you website on petfinder. I just saw a Havanese at my daughters
volleyball game a fell in love with this little dog! I have always seen them
in white but this one was black and brown! We currently have a yorkie

companion for everyone because we love Oscar sooooo much.
Your website is a great
reference and I will check back often to see if I can find one my family
would like to rescue! (I need to get my husband on this bandwagon=)
Thanks!
