It's funny.  This following story is odd.  We lost our last dog in the year 2005 two days before we were to leave Arizona and come back to Michigan.  So, we buried his leash, etc in our back yard here.  Last year, 2007, before I left, I went to his stone that we used to cover his belongings and I said ok, I have pined for you for two years now and it is now time for you to send me along someone.

 

The day that I got back from Arizona, the phone rang and it was Pat telling me about Phoebe.  I couldn't believe that Murphy (our dog) would be so prompt with my request.  The only thing I told him this year on our return to Arizona was, (she could have been a little younger).
