January 2009 We are already, quite deeply in love with our little furball. Sparrow
(formerly Gary, although we have decided to keep it as his middle name) is the
love of our lives. He has been a perfect gentlemen since his arrival with heaps
of puppy energy as well as a supreme desire to flake out on our laps for as much
tummy rubs and ear massaging that he can handle. He loves nothing more than
chewing on his rubber bunny, napping on his homemade beanbag bed, bounding
through the snow and working on his new tricks for tasty treats. He has already
learned to 'come', 'sit', 'into bed' as well as ring the bell at the back door
to go outside. He has, without so much as breaking a sweat, won over everyone
he has had the pleasure to meet. We are incredibly happy with him and
incredibly thankful to Laura, his foster mum, Pat as well as everyone we have
had the pleasure of dealing with since we first became involved with HALO. Your
organization is a wonderful network of caring people and we are sincerely proud
of everything that you do for the animals that you are able to reach. Thank you
everything you do and extra special thanks for making the connection between
Sparrow and our family.
