Anna, age 9, just held her second bake sale this year, and she sent all the proceeds to HALO to help rescue more Havanese. We received a wonderful letter from her thanking us for her HALO rescue, Mac, and letting us know how much she loves him. She gave us a great description of the mouth-watering goodies she had baked and sold: pumpkin spice cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and cookies frosted with orange and green cookie icing, with "happy words" written on the cookies like "grateful" and "life is sweet".
