With beautiful weather and over 80 pups attending, of course the picnic was a huge success! Almost 100 people joined us in St. Charles, Illinois for our annual get-together. We all enjoyed the chance to see how our HALO rescues have blossomed. More than a few happy tears were shed to see these beautiful babies and know they are now beloved, happy family members. We had adopters and their pups from the early years of HALO almost 15 years ago, and many from our huge Project Roo group of over 70 that were rescued last November from Missouri. A group of 5 puppies born in December, just after their momma was rescued the month before in Missouri, were reunited with each other, and with their foster family. It was a joyful, fun day for all the furkids and their parents!! We can't wait to see everyone again next year and we will be setting the date for the 2017 picnic very soon.
