We rescued little Willow from a puppy mill two years ago. One of her front legs was badly deformed due to an injury that had not been treated. She was unable to use it to run or even to walk. We flew her to California where talented veterinary surgeon Dr. Jack Henry used bone grafts along with metal plates and screws in a 6 hour surgery to repair her tiny leg. Recently, Willow and Dr. Henry met up again because Willow needed the hardware removed. At only 3 years of age, Willow will have many years of running to enjoy thanks to Dr. Jack Henry and his wife and assistant, Lori Henry, who have cared for her with great compassion and skill. We are grateful for their dedication!
